My blogging trend

I've just noticed today that I seem to be putting a new post on my blog every other month. So I'm thinking of the possibility of setting myself a goal to try to put a new post once a month...

I've been pretty good about updating my goodreads list so maybe that's more the direction I could take with this blog.

Minibeasts...

We now have an ant farm thanks to kind friends (Diolch!). The farm has been moved around the kitchen for a few weeks now but with no ants still as of yet. So many other happenings keep happening. Since the last post we have had 2 caterpillars in the house in a small tank for awhile and now there are some old stick insect eggs too(from the freezer-I'm trying to clear it out so I can defrost it again).
We are still planning to have the ants it just hasn't been part of our happenings yet. Hopefully soon though.

Ants

Macalla has decided she might like to have an ant farm. She has decided that she doesn't want any of the bitey ones though. :)

I am so very lucky

While dd and I were sharing one of our wonderful hugs, I said something like "How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" and she often has a lovely reply. This time was a new one and sweet as ever. She said "you were lucky when you found dad".

Been awhile...

I've decided to use this blog in a different way than I'd originally intended. At least for now. I had hoped to keep a sort of journal online as I know others do wonderfully. I've realized I don't feel totally comfortable doing that. Not totally sure why that is. Maybe that'll change as I am writing more just not online. When I am online though I find these great sites, quotes, or whatever that I want to get back to later but never do. So this is now what my blog will be for. A place to put the items I come across online that I find especially interesting that day or week and would possibly like to learn more about.
